EMN Estonia and the Ministry of the Interior invite participants to the second introductory event on the Pact on Migration and Asylum on 10 February 2026, the aim of which is to provide an overview of the most significant changes accompanying the pact in Estonian and European Union practice.
In the first panel, presentations will be delivered by the Ministry of the Interior, the Representation of the European Commission in Estonia, the Police and Border Guard Board, the Ministry of Culture, the Social Insurance Board, eu-LISA, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The presentations will be delivered in Estonian, with the exeption of one presentation by eu-LISA which will be held in English. See full agenda here.
The second half of the day is planned as a training session targeted at authorities, with a presentation by the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA).
The event will take place at the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences. Registration for the information day is open until 4 February (inclusive).
