Portuguese Presidency Conference: “Digital transformation in migration”

On April 30 from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM the Portuguese Presidency Conference “Digital transformation in migration” will take place.

The virtual conference will bring together Portuguese and European stakeholders active in the field of migration, along with experts specializing in digital innovations and artificial intelligence technology, to jointly discuss the risks and opportunities of migration processes and future technologies. The conference aims to provide participants with an overview of recent political developments at EU and national levels, as well as practical examples and lessons learned in implementing digitalization processes. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from innovative examples how digital tools can support the management of migration processes (including the use of artificial intelligence) and how to do so securely and ethically.
