On October 15 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM (Estonian time), EMN France will host a webinar on “Separated and Missing Migrants: Member States’ Practices for Preventing Family Separation and Searching for Missing Migrants”.

The webinar is a follow-up to the EMN Inform published in June “Separated and Missing Migrants”. At the end of 2020, the EMN investigated the practices of EU countries and Norway in preventing the disappearance of third-country nationals or subsequently searching for them, including the procedures for reporting disappearances and conducting searches. The Inform focuses on immigrants who have gone missing unintentionally while already residing in the EU, i.e., not while en route to an EU country.

The seminar will be held in English via the Webex online platform.

To register, please send an email to emn@interieur.gouv.fr by October 14 at the latest.
