On September 21–22, 2017, the EMN Estonia contact point organized the EMN annual conference. The event, titled “The European Union and the Global Talent Hunt: Challenges and Opportunities to Improve EU Competitiveness“, addressed the links between migration and economic growth and presented ongoing multi-level measures — regional, national, and transnational. These various measures have been initiated to enhance European competitiveness and fill gaps in European labor markets.
