The EMN Netherlands National Contact Point is organizing on Tuesday, October 12, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM (Estonian time) a webinar on “Children in Migration in Europe and the Netherlands”. The webinar will focus on the policies of the European Union and its Member States regarding the transition to adulthood.
Protecting children in migration in Europe is a priority for both the European Union (EU) and its Member States. The EMN Netherlands webinar will take a closer look at the policies and ambitions of the European Commission, EU Member States, and the Netherlands in ensuring the protection of children in migration. Special attention will be paid to the transition to adulthood for unaccompanied minors. The webinar will begin with a presentation by the European Commission and the Dutch Ministry of Justice and Security, followed by a panel discussion on practices regarding the transition to adulthood in Belgium, Ireland, and the Netherlands.
